Bogus Religious Persecution Bill targets Germany
I received word today at 10 Am from an Senate Aide on capitol hill that the Scientologists
were having another Dog and Pony show, todays spectacle would occur in the Senate Foreign
Relations Committee room, room 2172 of Rayburn Senatate Office Building. $cientology
trotted out SCIENTOLOGIST Ann Archer, who looked one face lift away from replacing Michael
Jackson as poster boy for the Cosmetic Surgery Lobby.
The last time they tried this was the soundly defeated HR 22 Concurrent resolution , which
went on to become SD-522, when they displayed SCIENTOLOGIST John Travolta to entertain now
EX-Senator Alfonse D'Amato, the chairmain of the last botched effort.
I would like to think that the price he paid for dancing with the devil was his failed
re-election.
Arriving at the press conference at a few minutes before 2 pm, I was greeted at the door
by a Scientology "David Miscavige clone" John Terbush, who tried to prevent my
entry. He accused me of wanting to create a scene. I told him I had no intention of
disrupting his dog and pony act, and brushed him off, and entered.
Opening statements reveal that they have only 48 co-sponsors for this tacit endorsement of
Scientology's worldwide history of criminal activity. Down from 62 co-sponsors for
previous Travolta show.
After fifteen miutes or so, I took my jacket off.
And was immediately asked to step into the hall, where the Capitol Police politely asked
me to provide ID, and indicated that they had been notified that I planned to create some
disturbance. And that under the the rules of Congress posters and placards were not
allowed.
Perhaps it was the red on white Scientology KILLS T-Shirt.
I asked for a written statement describing why I was asked to leave the room. He and his
Commander refused.
However, after I told them about the visit to my home a few weeks ago by the FBI
Anti-Terrorist Task force.. and the phone conversation with Agent O'Cpnner indicating that
the Bureau suspected $cientology of providing the fake anonymous report, as well as the
FACT that Scientology was convicted in the largest domestic spying case in US history AND
that they did JAIL TIME.

Thierry DuChanac was seen to throw up his hands as I was allowed to re-enter what Scientology had hoped to be a one line show for them.
By the time this exchange was concluded the press conference was over.
But that was merely an opportunity.
And I reentered the room, and went up to one of the cameramen who was still running his
camera, explained what happenned, and his camera then zoomed in on:
SCIENTOLOGY: WORE THAN YOU THINK!
and the People Against Scientology logo may make it to the evening news in Germany,
showing truth crushing a swastika.
OSA - Thierry Duchanac became a bit agitated as he saw his "OSA statistics crashing'
and asked the press fellow whom he was with . I then informed the press guy that this was
so the Scientologists could send them a copy of my Dead Agent Pack.
Thierry twitched a bit more.
I told the blond fellah, [ask Rod Keller what his name is] he knows him, that "his
8-c was out, and he needed 1000 hours of TR training on an ashtray", for failing to
keep me out of the press conference.
He could not look me in the eye.
I can only wonder, what the spectacle looked like to the press corps in the gallery.
Committee and gave the Aide a copy of my flyers and Art of Deception, telling him simply,
"I was just asked to leave the Press conference, your chairman needs to understand
exactly what he has stepped in.
There were additional contacts made today, but I know how how much Little Davie loves
surprises.
PS: I asked SCIENTOLOGIST Sue Taylor to read Art of deception and my website and point out
any errors or falsehoods and I would correct them immediately. She said, "You know I
dont even have access to the Web" Well I told her she was welcome anytime to stop by
and that she should bring "lots-o-docs!"

Today,Arnie got a call from one of his connections telling him of a meeting in the senate
orchestrated by Scientology.
When we got there, a young, blonde scientologist recognizes Arnie and tried to block him
from going in.Arnie brushed past him and walked in, as the guy was saying you can't make a
scene here!
I walked in and said to him this is a public meeting.We sat down and a few minutes later
,Sylvia Standard walked up to us and said in front of everyone sitting there "You
can't make a scene here!" Arnie told her he had no intention of doing so, and I told
her ,"You came and started talking first". She left. Then the meeting began.
Anne Archer came out and I didn't even recognize her at first. She looked like a robot
with too many face-lifts.It was sad.After a while I noticed several scientology people
gathering behind us and a police officer. I wondered what they had in mind.
Then Arnie took off his jacket, and a police officer behind him asked him to step out into
the hall.At first I was a little nervous about it and went too, thinking he might need a
witness, but as usual Arnie handled it with complete control and finesse, by the time he
was done explaining the true nature of scientology two officers took copies of "The
art of Deception" and flyers,including the commander.They decided to let him back
into the meeting but it had ended.
Arnie went back in to reach whomever was left.When he went to speak to a reporter I saw
Thierry Duchanac came flying over to intervene. Osa was sickening-sweet to us, a command
performance, it must have been very hard on them.

The presentation contained outright LIES by the Scientologists.

The theme of Scientology is back again. On Thursday afternoon, a phalanx
of American representatives, backed by Hollywood celebrities, sharply
attacked the Federal Republic of Germany. The majority Republic
politicians let it be known that a new resolution which was extremely
critical of Germany would be brought before Congress.
What's new this time around, though, is that the "undisputed leadership
role of Germany in Europe" is alleged to be responsible for the
suppression of freedom of religion by "other governments such as Poland,
France and Denmark who are, regrettably, trying to imitate the Federal
Republic."
Other than that, the accusations are nothing which has not been said
before. Nevertheless, they were imparted by unusually harsh words on
Thursday in the U.S. Congress. Among other things, the representatives
said: "hate is taught in German schools," "the government's persecution of
minority religions has destroyed many artistic careers," "thousands need
our help, because their voices are being suppressed in Germany." Ben
Gilman, Republican from New York and chairman of the foreign politics
committee in the House of Representatives, who has sponsored similar
resolutions in the past, expressed himself relatively moderately. Gilman
demanded that the German government would have to take up a dialogue with
representatives of small religions. "Unfortunately we have gotten nothing
from them so far but trash." Gilman believes that Americans would be
breaking their Constitution if they would not "speak up against
persecution of minority religions everywhere." He alleged that,
unfortunately, Germany, in puncto tolerance, had taken a leadership role
in Europe, and that other countries were following its bad example.
Republican Mark Foley from Florida threatened to make freedom of religion
in Germany a theme at the World Trade Organization (WTO). He also said
that Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Orthodox Jews and Evangelical
Christians were discriminated against in the Federal Republic of Germany.
He said it was "shocking that something like this could happen in a
democracy." California Democrat Xavier Becerra asserted that hundreds of
Americans were denied entrance into Germany because they were
Scientologists or members of other small religions. Matt Salmon,
Republican representative from Arizona and himself a Mormon, gave his
impression that the federal government was less of a problem than were
state and local governments. Salmon asserted that jazz musician Chick
Corea was stopped from entering the Federal Republic of Germany.
Senator Mike Enzi, a republican from Wyoming, and film actress Anne Archer
demanded that the Schroeder administration "finally embrace pluralism" and
put pressure on its European neighbors to be just as tolerant of small
religious denominations and their adherents. Several speakers compared the
situation of religious freedom in the Federal Republic of Germany with
that of China.
Contrary to custom, the "press conference" for 60 mostly American
journalists, who appeared to be overwhelmingly convinced of the truth of
the accusations, was delivered without permitting any questions to be
asked. Gilman and Salmon said afterwards to the "Tagesspiegel" that they
did not know of a single actual case where Americans could not travel to
Germany because of their religious affiliation. He said that Corea had not
obtained the permit he needed to appear for a concert in Germany. In
response to the question as to what kind of permit a musician needed to
appear in Germany, Representative Salmon said, "That is just what Chick
Corea told us."
The three and a half page proposed resolution demanded that Germany keep
its international obligations. The U.S. President was called upon to
"express his concern" to the Federal Republic. It is not clear what
chances the initiative has. Gilman and Salmon said, however, that they
were "optimistic," but interjected that they would still have to do much
information work among their fellow representatives.
Previous resolutions of similar content were voted down with the help of
German lobby efforts once they reached committee, or never made it to the
Senate. This time the sponsors, among them Tom Davis, a Republic from
Virginia, wish to introduce the resolution simultaneously in the Senate
and House of Representatives. They hope for a vote this spring when the
State Department presents its annual report on the situation of human
rights in Germany. In the meantime, it has become known that the attorney
who represents Scientology in Washington is the same who had Joerg Haider
for a client.
