Christian Clergy in English city say Steer Clear of Scientology, it is unacceptable

Town clergy's advice on Scientology:

WE, the clergy of East Grinstead. write concerning the cult of Scientology.

Although the practices of Scientology have been exposed for what they are, both in the national press and in the courts, we believe it is important that the general public should be kept aware of repeated attempts to present Scientology as something acceptable and beneficial to society.

We believe the opposite is true and we would urge everyone not to get involved, either by visiting the new Dianetics Centre, or by completing the Free Personality Test questionnaire, which is their basic recruiting technique.

Hubbard calls the 'soul' by his own made up word 'thetan', Scientologists consider themselves to be "thetans", was it just chance, that if you say the word "Satan" with a lisp is comes out "thetan"?

I was a staff member of the cult called Scientology in Washington DC in the late 60's. I thought Hubbard was a war hero - that turned out to be a lie. I thought hubbard was a Nuclear Physicist - that also is a lie... I was told Scientology was 'an applied philosophy and not a religion' - that was just a convenient lie - I was told Hubbard developed his technology in order to cure himself as he was 'blinded and crippled due to wounds received [in action ] during W.W.II - this also is a lie.

I can prove all of this...

I was 16 when Scientology began lying to me, now, if I prevent
just one kid that age from wasting 10 years of his life, then
all the harassment, personal attacks, and litigation by this cult of shame
are all worth it.

But its their 'way' .. Hubbard was a liar.. His followers
emulate him.. They are 'deluded adherents'

Hear L Ron Hubbard denounce Christ...

"The man on the Cross, there was no Christ"

In a vitriolic diatribe against Christianity, Hubbard was discussing
how Christianity had gotten into a beautiful condition by selling
immortality, how the "mercy of God" became costly, and how the original
spiritual ideas had degenerated to the material plane to the point where
religious freedom is a sham. He then says:
<start quote>
.If you started to worship Lucifer, if you started to worship any of the
various gods. One fellow, Aleister Crowley, picked up a level of
religious worship which is very interesting. Oh boy! The press played
hockey with his head for his whole lifetime. The Great Beast-666. He
just had another level of religious worship. Yes sir! You are free to
worship everything under the Constitution so long as it's Christian.

CS Lewis' - The Screwtape Letters

CS Lewis, A Christian Theologian who wrote many stories illustrative of what he considered God's will to be, wrote a series of "letters" from one of Satan's demons to his underling on earth, about how to decieve man and capture souls at the start of WWII.

"The Screwtape letters likened hell to a bureaucracy in which everyone is perpetually concerned about dignity and advancement, where everyone has a grievance, and where everyone lives the deadly serious passions of envy, self-importance and resentment." - reminded me of what Scientology is actually like, especially it's managment organzation

The instructions on how to deceive man, appear to me, upon finally reading CS Lewis's The Screwtape Letters to be one of the major sources, that Hubbard used as a template for the organization that he built.

The Screwtape Letters would be useful for helping an departing member of Scientology understand what happened to him

Satanic Origins of Scientology - Excerpt from Satan wants You by Arthur Lyons

Read letter to NY Sen. D'Amato (D) re Religious Intolerance in Europe

In this excerpt Hubbard talks about someone somewhere finding parts of R6... R6 is the big secret, that I was sued for posting to the internet in August 1995, R6 is Hubbard's invented name for his piece of fiction known as OTIII and related materials, which was described in this excerpt from US District Judge Leonie Brinkema in her memorandum opinion, in RTC vs Lerma (yeah, thats me) (RTC is one of Scientology's shell corporations)

""The dispute in this case surrounds Lerma's acquisition and publication on the Internet of texts that the Church of Scientology considers sacred and protects heavily from unauthorized disclosure. Founded by L. Ron Hubbard, the Scientology religion attempts to explain the origin of negative spiritual forces in the world and advances techniques for improving one's own spiritual well-being. Scientologists believe that most human problems can be traced to lingering spirits of an extraterrestrial people massacred by their ruler, Xenu, over 75 million years ago. These spirits attach themselves by "clusters" to individuals in the contemporary world, causing spiritual harm and negatively influencing the lives of their hosts" [Judge Leonie Brinkema 4 Oct 96 Memorandum Opinion]
(scientology lawyers got this opinion sealed for a day or so... - but thats another story..)

Quill Magazine 1993 - Ex-member Robert Vaughn Young:

"I also trained other Scientology PRs on how to handle the media, using material from Hubbard. This included how to respond to a question without answering, how to divert the issue, how to tell "an acceptable truth," how to stall for time, how to assume various emotional states to control another, how to "attack the attacker," how to take control of a conversation, how to introvert a person and how to "get the message across" (especially in an age of sound bites), how to help Scientology attorneys write inflammatory legal papers so the PR could then safely use the abusive phrases, and how to appear to be a religion."

Hubbard also says in Professional Auditor's Bulletin #31 PABS Book 2, on Page 26 "......and the Christ legend as an implant in pcs a million years ago"

An implant is a electronically assisted brainwashing that Hubbard said happens to us before this life at various times... 'pcs' is short for 'pre-clears' what Scientology calls folks who are getting their mental manipulation, or processing also known as auditing but have not attained the state of 'Clear'

"False teachers and Their Destruction"

2 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who brought them- bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth in disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up."

2 Peter 2-1-3

My personal favorite is an audio clip from, IIRC, the
Philadelphia Doctorate Lectures. He tries to divide 100 by 6 in
his head and gets 66 2/3. One of the attendees corrects him and
Elron explains away his mistake at elementary level math by
stating he has trouble switching to MEST arithmetic. I guess in
the "real" universe, 100 divided by 6 *is* 66 2/3.
It's actually a revelationist slip. 66.6.In the same PDC lectures Hubbard calls himself something like the"prince of darkness."(c) Gerry Armstrong
